Jane has lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for over 25 years in the quaint seaside community of Bay St. Louis. Her first career was in healthcare as an Occupational Therapist/Certified Hand Therapist. She retired from healthcare in 2012 and began her 2nd career in retail. She has owns a thriving business in Bay St.Louis called Baytique, a premier women's clothing and gift boutique.

Jane has painted on and off for her entire life but recently has expanded her style to include abstract and semi-abstract art. She is always reaching to expand her skills through workshops and collaborations with other artists. Her passion for art plays an integral role in her life and business. Jane enjoys painting her surroundings of beach and coastal themes. However, her roots in West Virginia give her a passion for mountain scapes as well. She sells her artwork at Baytique as well as here online.

One her favorite things is sharing her love of art with her nieces and family members. Her studio transforms into a family creativity space whenever they visit. The projects range from painting, to batik, block-printing, and jewelry making.

Her husband, Kevin Kulpeksa, is her partner in crime and her biggest fan. They enjoy sailing along the Gulf Coast and frequently overnight on one of the beautiful barrier islands near-by.

Together, along with their 4 dogs, 3 cats, and 5 birds, they have built a beautiful life with an abundance of love, joy, and adventure. His support and encouragement have made it possible for Jane to fulfill more than one of her lifelong dreams. She gives him credit for her development as an artist. His opinion is always spot on.
